Accessibility

Accessible training and website access for every student.

Last Updated: October 12, 2026  •  Draft pending TCCA & legal review

Tri-County Career Academy (TCCA) is committed to making its website and training services usable for everyone, including students, employers, and visitors with disabilities.

We make reasonable efforts to keep our website accessible and easy to use, and to support students who need adjustments to take part in our classes. This page explains what we do, what is still in progress, and how to reach us if you need help.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and to keep improving the site over time. To support this, we work to:

  • Keep content clearly organized and written in plain language wherever possible.
  • Make important policy, contact, registration, and course information easy to find.
  • Make menus, tabs, accordions, forms, and buttons usable with a keyboard, with clear visible focus.
  • Use readable text, strong color contrast, and meaningful link and button labels.
  • Provide text descriptions for meaningful images.

Some parts of our website may not yet be fully accessible. This can include older documents or PDFs, embedded content, and third-party tools that we do not control, such as registration, payment, and scheduling services.

If you have trouble using any part of the website, please contact us. We will help you get the information or complete your registration another way.

Students who need reasonable adjustments or accommodations to take part in a TCCA class should contact TCCA before the class begins.

TCCA will review each request and make reasonable efforts to support your participation when possible.

Please follow these steps so we have time to plan with you:

  • Contact us early. Submit your request as early as possible before the class begins.
  • Tell us what you need. Share enough information for us to understand the adjustment you are requesting and which class you plan to attend.
  • We will follow up. TCCA may discuss available options with you before confirming what we can provide.

Adjustments must be reasonable. They cannot fundamentally change course requirements, safety requirements, certification requirements, or required attendance hours.

For example, the instructional hours required for a credential must still be completed. If we cannot provide the exact adjustment you request, we will work with you to find another option that supports your participation.

If you find something on our website that is difficult or impossible to use, please tell us through the Contact Us page or by email. It helps if you include:

  • The page or link where you had the problem.
  • A short description of what happened.
  • The device, browser, or assistive technology you were using, if you know it.

TCCA reviews reported accessibility concerns and makes reasonable improvements when feasible.

Tri-County Career Academy provides training opportunities without discrimination based on race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, veteran status, religion, or other protected status.

Concerns about discrimination or unequal treatment may be submitted through the Contact Us page or the TCCA email below. TCCA will review concerns and take appropriate action when necessary.
