Courses & Training
TCCA offers instructor-led training in workplace safety, OSHA programs, Lean Six Sigma, and other professional development areas.
The best course depends on your industry, career goals, experience, and employer requirements.
Review our Courses & Training page to compare available programs, or contact our team for assistance selecting the most appropriate training.
OSHA 10 provides introductory workplace safety and health awareness training and is commonly taken by entry-level workers. OSHA 30 provides more extensive hazard awareness training and is often appropriate for supervisors, safety personnel, and workers with safety responsibilities. OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 are OSHA Training Program courses, not professional certifications. Successful completion of an authorized course results in the appropriate OSHA/DOL completion card.
No. USACE EM 385-1-1 training addresses safety and health requirements associated with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers work and certain federal or military projects. OSHA 30 is part of the OSHA Training Program. They cover different requirements, and completing one does not automatically replace the other. Check your employer's or contract's specific training requirements.
TCCA offers select courses through live Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) via Zoom and in-person instruction. Training formats vary by program and scheduled class. Check the individual course listing to confirm the available delivery format.
Many TCCA courses are suitable for participants without prior experience. Some advanced programs may be more beneficial to individuals with relevant industry knowledge or experience. Review the individual course description for any prerequisites or recommendations.
Tri-County Career Academy (TCCA) provides paid professional training programs for individuals and employers. Veterans, active-duty service members, eligible spouses, and other qualifying military-connected participants may have access to certain free training opportunities through Veterans Transition Support (VTS), a separate nonprofit organization. Eligibility, course availability, and registration requirements vary by program. Visit Veterans Transition Support to explore available free training opportunities.

Certificates & Verification
Completion documentation depends on the training program. Students who successfully complete an authorized OSHA course receive the appropriate OSHA/DOL completion card. Other TCCA programs may provide a TCCA course completion certificate or other course-specific documentation. TCCA-issued certificates are separate from official OSHA cards. Review your course description for details.
Processing and delivery timelines vary by program and issuing organization. Some course completion documents may be issued electronically, while official OSHA cards require processing through the authorized issuing system.
Use the Certificate Verification link available in the Student Resources section of the TCCA website. Verification availability depends on the type of certificate and its issuing organization. TCCA's tool verifies TCCA-issued course completion certificates only. Official OSHA cards are issued through the authorized OSHA issuing system and are not verified through TCCA.
Contact TCCA with your full name, course title, and training date. Corrections or replacements are subject to the applicable issuing organization's procedures and requirements. Additional processing requirements or fees may apply where permitted.
