About Russell
Before teaching full time, Russell managed more than $9 million in construction projects and material sales. That background is why his classes focus on how safety and process-improvement tools are actually used on the job, not just how to pass a test.
He now teaches OSHA and Lean Six Sigma at TCCA, and brings the same practical approach to the OSHA 500-level courses he teaches as an adjunct instructor at California State University, Dominguez Hills. Across his teaching career, he has taught 400+ OSHA courses and 200+ Lean Six Sigma courses to more than 19,000 students.

Teaching Philosophy
Students learn best by doing, not simply by listening or memorizing terminology. His courses emphasize practical application: how to use a tool, why it is being used, and what problem it is meant to solve.
